Yonex Vcore 100, 2021
Yonex Vcore 100 has been updated for 2021 and according to reviews it’s an impressive one.
Who is it good for?
This user friendly racquet will work for anyone from beginner to advanced players.
Technologies
In addition to getting updated with a slightly thicker, more powerful beam, Yonex has widened the racquet’s head above the 3/9 o’clock axis, implementing a more powerful and spin-friendly hitting result. For 2021, the VCORE 100 features some impressive technology updates, including Flex Force, which uses a uniquely flexible graphite (NAMD2) in the lower hoop/upper shaft to help the racquet bend more optimally at impact. Yonex has also redesigned the grommet system with String Sync, which utilizes funnel shaped inserts to help the strings snapback powerfully during impact.
Additional technologies include a Vibration Dampening Mesh in the handle for added comfort, along with several aerodynamic features that reduce wind drag for easier acceleration and finishing points decisively.
How does it feel?
On the court the Vcore 100 delivers great ball feedback. The 100 inch head makes this racquet having the biggest sweet spot among the Vcore family. The thick beam of 25 mm (24mm-25m-22mm) makes this racquet the most powerful of the trio (95, 98 and 100). The 4 point headlight balance and 324g swingweight translate to hitting shots on the run or producing merciless head speed when loading the ball with spin. The Vcore 910 also delivers at net where it feels solid against pace while also moving quite fast under pressure. In addition it packs a punch shooting massive serves to the opposition.
With some impressive updates to the feel and beam construction, the VCORE 100 has become a powerful spin monster.
